Las Vegas Golf Tips

When it comes to Las Vegas there are many tips that you need to be fully aware of and the same goes for those that plan on playing golf there. Golf is a major attraction in Las Vegas and many tourists and locals love to play on any course they can. The thing about the Las Vegas golfing experience is that the fairways, greens, and even the rough are so green for being in the middle of a desert and under the hot sun all day long.

There are so many tips that you need to know when golfing in Las Vegas but because you most likely want to hurry and get out there and play I will keep this short. The first thing you need to understand not just about Las Vegas but all hot and humid cities is that you must be prepared with plenty of fluids that way you don't get dehydrated. The reason why you need plenty of fluid and I don't just mean on the course is because your body will sweat so much that you will need to hydrate yourself the night before you golf.

Know the course - The reason why you need to know the course is because you don't want to have to search for your ball every time you hit it. The thing that you should do prior to even teeing off is to look at the layout of the hole and see what you need to watch out for and where the sand is at on the sides. The one thing you will want to stay away from is hitting your ball off the course because most golf courses in Las Vegas don't have the cleanest surroundings and that will make it tough on you finding and hitting your ball.

Practice your hits - What most people don't know about playing golf in such humid conditions is that the ball will actually hang in the air much longer and won't go as far. If you are used to playing in very fair conditions then you will probably notice a huge difference in the way the ball flies through the air. Most people aren't too worried about the way the ball flies if they are just going there to have fun and play some golf but then again it is sin city and you will most likely have a wager on the game, right?

Get a caddie - If you go to one of the courses that don't allow golf carts then I highly recommend that you spring for a caddie. You can normally find a caddie that will carry your clubs and help you navigate the course for under $75 a round and you will need the help. Not only will the caddie give you good tips on where to hit your ball and the clubs to use but they will also ease the load off of you by carrying your clubs the entire way. If you are there to have fun and not for the exercise then I recommend doing this because the sun and the distance are almost too much for a first timer in Las Ve
